Hello

Thank you for visiting my page!

A little about me and my values as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

I focus on a collaborative and personalized style of practice, giving special attention to the connection of mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate my passion for mental health, knowledge of evidence-based medications, and current research-based therapy modalities to serve the needs of my community.

I began my career as a critical care nurse at the University of Maryland. After completing my first year as a novice nurse, I was motivated to continue my education and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Frostburg State University. I continued my graduate studies at Walden University and received my Master of Science in Nursing.

Living in an amazing community and my exposure to various settings, exceptional mentors, and thriving organizations has offered me ample opportunities for experience that my patients can benefit from. I focus on a humanistic approach where my patients can equally expect compassion as much as candid suggestions for sustainable change.

Aside from my particular interest in treating those recovering from alcohol and drug addictions, I enjoy treating children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, and those struggling with sensitive LGBQTIA+ issues. I enjoy many hobbies, such as collecting local art and photography. I also love Pilates, hanging with my best teachers (Madi, Kade, Aurie), spending quality time with my girlfriend Sherry, and being a self-proclaimed cat mom.

Planting Seeds Behavioral Health is the result of living in recovery. It is my service to those still suffering. I hope to help many through this platform, combining therapy and medication management.
