We are dedicated to creating a supportive and affirming space, especially for LGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring that care is personalized and inclusive.
1
Tele-Treatment and Screening for Co-Occurring Disorders
Addiction care requires specialized expertise and experience due to its complex nature. At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, we recognize that true recovery goes beyond just stopping substance use—it’s about healing the whole person: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Co-occurring mental health disorders must be identified and treated to improve outcomes. We often see individuals exhaust themselves trying to determine whether their addiction or mental illness came first. The truth is, that answer may never be clear—but what matters most is addressing the symptoms and challenges in the present.

Together, we focus on healing by integrating comprehensive screening, diagnosis, online supportive talk therapy, and medication management. By combining these approaches, we lay the foundation for lasting transformation and a renewed, fulfilling life.
2
ADHD Screening and Treatment for Adults and Children
Proper diagnosis and treatment of ADHD can be life-changing. Untreated ADHD can contribute to a range of challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and difficulties in relationships. Our goal is to identify the root cause of your symptoms, allowing for a targeted approach that alleviates these associated struggles.

The process begins with a self-assessment focusing on key symptoms such as impulsivity, inattention, and restlessness. Following this, a comprehensive evaluation will be scheduled to explore your concerns and how ADHD may be impacting your life. If diagnosed, ADHD will be classified into one of three types: inattentive, hyperactive/impulsive, or combined. To ensure accuracy, insights from loved ones may also be incorporated into the diagnostic process.

From there, a personalized treatment plan is developed to address your unique needs, empowering you to regain control and improve your quality of life.
3
Anxiety and Depression Screening for Adults and Children
Anxiety and depression often go hand in hand, but they can also present independently. Common anxiety disorders include social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety, and specific phobias.

The most prevalent form of depression is Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), which differs significantly from temporary sadness in response to life events. A proper diagnosis requires either a persistently depressed mood or a loss of interest or pleasure in nearly all activities, along with at least four additional symptoms. These may include changes in weight, sleep disturbances, difficulty concentrating, or recurrent thoughts of suicide. Symptoms must persist for at least two weeks and cannot be attributed to a manic episode, substance use, or an underlying medical condition.

Once a diagnosis is established, treatment typically involves a combination of talk therapy and medication management. A personalized treatment plan is then developed to address the individual's unique needs and support their path to recovery.
4
Substance Use Disorders/Addiction Recovery
Substance use disorders are complex, often progressive conditions that affect both the brain and behavior. They can manifest subtly or severely, and are frequently intertwined with trauma, mental health challenges, and chronic stress. Because substance use is often used as a coping strategy, the root causes may be overlooked without comprehensive assessment and care.

At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, we approach addiction recovery with compassion, curiosity, and clinical insight. We take the time to understand the full picture—your history, triggers, environment, and goals. Evaluation may include lab work, physical health review, standardized screenings, and collaborative input from loved ones when helpful. Treatment is trauma-informed and deeply individualized, integrating psychotherapy, relapse prevention strategies, medication support when indicated, and Twelve Step Facilitation to support long-term recovery, accountability, and resilience.
5
LGBTQIA+ Challenges
LGBTQIA+ individuals often face unique emotional, social, and systemic challenges that can deeply impact mental health and self-worth. From identity exploration to experiences of rejection, discrimination, or internalized shame, the path to healing can be layered and complex. These concerns are often misinterpreted or minimized in clinical settings without affirming, culturally competent care.

At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, we offer a safe, affirming space for you to show up exactly as you are. Our approach is rooted in respect, trauma-informed insight, and real-world understanding of the pressures faced by queer and trans communities. We take time to understand your story.
Treatment may include supportive psychotherapy, skills-based approaches, and identity-affirming care that honors both your lived experience and your clinical needs. Whether you're navigating coming out, family dynamics, or simply seeking peace in your own skin, we're here to walk with you toward healing and wholeness.
