Exclusive Services
At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, I take a collaborative approach to helping individuals with co-occurring disorders, focusing on sustainable recovery and the integration of current scientific advancements in screening, assessment, and evidence-based pharmacotherapies.

In addition to substance use treatment, I provide comprehensive care that includes assessment, psychotherapy, and medication management for ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, and more. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and affirming space, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring that care is personalized and inclusive.
1
Tele-Treatment and Screening for Co-Occurring Disorders
Addiction care requires specialized expertise and experience due to its complex nature. At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, I recognize that true recovery goes beyond just stopping substance use—it’s about healing the whole person: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Co-occurring mental health disorders must be identified and treated to improve outcomes. I often see individuals exhaust themselves trying to determine whether their addiction or mental illness came first. The truth is, that answer may never be clear—but what matters most is addressing the symptoms and challenges in the present.

Together, we focus on healing by integrating comprehensive screening, diagnosis, online supportive talk therapy, and medication management. By combining these approaches, we lay the foundation for lasting transformation and a renewed, fulfilling life.
2
ADHD Screening and Treatment for Adults and Children
Proper diagnosis and treatment of ADHD can be life-changing. Untreated ADHD can contribute to a range of challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and difficulties in relationships. Our goal is to identify the root cause of your symptoms, allowing for a targeted approach that alleviates these associated struggles.

The process begins with a self-assessment focusing on key symptoms such as impulsivity, inattention, and restlessness. Following this, a comprehensive evaluation will be scheduled to explore your concerns and how ADHD may be impacting your life. If diagnosed, ADHD will be classified into one of three types: inattentive, hyperactive/impulsive, or combined. To ensure accuracy, insights from loved ones may also be incorporated into the diagnostic process.

From there, a personalized treatment plan is developed to address your unique needs, empowering you to regain control and improve your quality of life.
3
Anxiety and Depression Screening for Adults and Children
Anxiety and depression often go hand in hand, but they can also present independently. Common anxiety disorders include social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety, and specific phobias.

The most prevalent form of depression is Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), which differs significantly from temporary sadness in response to life events. A proper diagnosis requires either a persistently depressed mood or a loss of interest or pleasure in nearly all activities, along with at least four additional symptoms. These may include changes in weight, sleep disturbances, difficulty concentrating, or recurrent thoughts of suicide. Symptoms must persist for at least two weeks and cannot be attributed to a manic episode, substance use, or an underlying medical condition.

Once a diagnosis is established, treatment typically involves a combination of talk therapy and medication management. A personalized treatment plan is then developed to address the individual's unique needs and support their path to recovery.
4
Bipolar I & II Screening and Treatment
Bipolar disorder is a complex, often chronic condition characterized by episodes of mania and depression. It is frequently misdiagnosed in outpatient settings, as depression is often the most prominent initial presentation. Accurate diagnosis requires a thorough assessment, including a detailed history to identify past or current manic or hypomanic episodes.

At Planting Seeds Behavioral Health, we dedicate the time necessary for an accurate evaluation. This process may include blood work, a recent physical exam from your primary care provider, age-appropriate screening questionnaires, and input from family members when appropriate. Treatment is highly personalized, integrating psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy to support long-term stability and well-being.
